Old Panama or Old Panama is the name given to the archaeological site where the city of Panama was from its foundation in 1519, until 1671. The city was moved to a new location, about 10 km to the southwest, being destroyed after a attack of the English pirate Henry Morgan at the beginning of the decade of 1670. From the original city, considered the first European settlement on the Pacific coast of America, today there are several ruins that make up this archaeological site.

After visiting the first founded city, they will take a panoramic tour of:
The Modern City overlooking the Bay and very tall buildings, bordering the Coastal Belt of the city.
The Old Town, or Casco Viejo is the name given to the site where it was moved and returned to founded in 1673 the city of Panama. This new city, traced reticular to the four cardinal points, was characterized by the axiality of its streets and shutters, which was worth being considered a classic model of Indian city. It is located on a small peninsula, surrounded by a mantle of rocky reefs, within the current San Felipe. In 1997, the Old Quarter of Panama is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage.

In the middle of the morning, they will delight some delicious Carmañolas de Yuca (Cassava) with meat or chicken, and refreshment.

Amador Causeway (Causeway de Amador) which was built in 1913 by the government of the United States with rocks excavated from the Culebra cut, during the construction of the Panama Canal. The site was originally part of a US military complex known as Fort Amador, established to protect the entrance to the canal. The site became a tourist attraction after these areas were reverted under the Torrijos-Carter Treaties. You can still see remnants of military installations on these islands. The former US military centers now switched to government buildings, hospitals, universities and Canal buildings.

Finally, they will reach the Panama Canal, which is an interoceanic route between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean that crosses the Isthmus of Panama at its narrowest point, whose length is 65 km. Since its inauguration on August 15, 1914, it has managed to shorten maritime communication in time and distance, promoting commercial and economic exchange by providing a short and relatively cheap transit route between the two oceans.

In 2012, the United States, China, Chile, Japan and South Korea were the five main users of the Panama Canal, which takes eight to ten hours to cross. Before its opening, the natural passages used between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans were the Strait of Magellan and Cape Horn, located in the extreme south of Chile. The Panama Canal and its construction are considered as one of the great works of world engineering of the twentieth century. Additionally, where they can see the passage of the boats, they will also have access to the Museum and audiovisuals.
